The Circular Cities Declaration expands its network with four new partners

The CCD network is growing, with four influential organisations joining its ranks as support partners: ACR+, ENEA, VITO, and Zero Waste Europe (ZWE). Each brings a wealth of expertise to drive forward the circular economy across Europe.

ACR+ is an international network of cities and regions committed to sustainable resource management. By sharing knowledge and best practices, ACR+ is helping to speed up the transition to a circular economy, both in local communities and on a European scale.

ENEA, Italy’s National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development, is a public research body focused on driving innovation. ENEA provides cutting-edge services to businesses, public authorities, and citizens in the sectors of energy, environmental sustainability, and economic development.

Flemish research organisation VITO is another important addition to the CCD. VITO is known for developing breakthrough solutions that foster a sustainable society, tackle climate change, and support resilience.

Zero Waste Europe (ZWE) is a network of communities, experts, and activists dedicated to making a better use of resources and eliminating waste. ZWE advocates for a radical rethink of how we use resources and works to accelerate a just transition to zero waste.
