International Mazovia Circular Congress

Mazovia Circular Congress is one of the biggest international events about circular economy. Its goal is to promote the idea of a circular economy, support sustainable business models and establish cooperation between interested stakeholders.

The Congress is the closing day of Circular Week 2022 and will take place on 7 October 2022. ICLEI is a partner of the event.

The Congress will feature lectures and discussion panels among international experts representing areas such as macroeconomics, bio-economy, urban infrastructure, waste management and plastics. There will also be workshops and matchmaking session.

The event will have a hybrid format.

9:45 – 10:45  Circularity GAP Report Poland

11:00 - 11:45  Cities as centres of circular transformation. Małgorzata Michalska (Urban Lab Rzeszów), Municipality of Krakow, Municipality of Bergen, Municipality of Prague, Municipality Amsterdam, Mazovian Marshal Office, Helena O'Rourke-Potocki (ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability)

11:45 - 12:30  Influencing responsible consumption and production - Interaction between companies and consumers

13:30 - 14:30  Workshop session and business matchmaking with representatives of start-ups offering circular solutions

14:30 -16:00  A simple path to circularity? The search for "the low-hanging fruit" in circular transformation
