Survey: New platform on circular economy and procurement initiatives

Rijkswaterstaat, the Dutch Directorate-General for Public Works and Water Management, is setting up C-Prone, a new initiative aimed at connecting different initiatives around circular economy and procurement. As its next step, Rijkswaterstaat wants to know what the needs and wants of circular economy/public procurement professionals are, and how C-Prone can best address those. Relevant stakeholders are therefore asked to fill in the survey below. This should only take 5-10 minutes.

The C-Prone platform aims to serve three main aims:

  1. Connect the people in these initiatives to facilitate exchange of best practices and build new alliances. Potentially also through the organisation of the Circular Procurement Congress as part of an existing international congress on sustainable procurement.
  2. Build a body of knowledge for circular procurement, disclosing insights, tools, best practices and lessons learned from current and previous initiatives and projects, to stimulate new projects to work further on what has already been done.
  3. Agenda setting, meaning addressing specific issues and topics that are important to consider or discuss at the level of local, regional and national government and/or by the European Commission and its advisory groups.
